John Abreo

John Jacob Abreo, 88, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away peacefully June 8, 2013 in Kansas City, MO. John was born April 17, 1925 in Kansas City, MO. After graduating from East High School, John served in the United States Navy as a pilot at the end of WWII. Upon discharge from the Navy, he worked as an adjuster for US Epperson Underwriting Company, and later as an executive for Lynn Insurance Group residing both in Kansas City, MO and Boca Raton, FL. John served as a priesthood member congregational pastor and as an active member of the Community of Christ Church. He is cherished in memory by his loving wife of 67 years, Rosanne, and also his three daughters, Janné, JoEllen and Patty; his eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Woods Chapel Community of Christ Congregation.
