Juanita M. Acree (Thompson)

Juanita M. Acree, 91 of Independence, MO passed away, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Village of Jackson Creek. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with burial to follow in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 until service time Saturday morning at the chapel. Juanita was born December 7, 1923 in Waterloo, IA to Ole and Anna (Godfrey) Thompson. She has worked as a office manager for a dental office for over 40 years before she retired. She was a member Church of Christ in Blue Springs, MO. She was married to Morris L. Acree until his passing in 2013. Survivors include; 8 step children, Steve Acree, Timothy Acree, Jerry Acree, Keith Acree, Kathy Stephens, Debbie Foster, Kent Acree and Angie Righi; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
