Freda Adams

Freda L. Adams, 79, of Independence, MO passed away July 7, 2006 at the Kansas City Hospice House. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. The services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the chapel, with burial at Floral Hills Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall, KCMO 64145. Freda was born on April 27, 1927 in Mulberry, AR to John E., Sr. and Elva E. Medlock. Freda worked in the greater Kansas City area and retired from American Can Company to enjoy life with her husband, Harry, of 41 years. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, canning, crochet and going to the Lake of the Ozarks to fish. She loved her husband Harry who preceded her March 17, 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Donna; two brothers, Joe Medlock of Dyer, AR and Jerial Medlock of Altus, AR; and one sister, Ruth Medlock of Alma, AR.
