Nancye Susan Adams, 69, Mountlake Terrace, WA passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055. Her wish was to be cremated and interred next to her mother in Cleveland, TN at a date to be determined.
Nancye was born January 14, 1944 in Chattanooga, TN, the daughter of Lester Adams and Mary Hawk where she grew up. She raised her family in Independence, MO, moved to Mentone, AL for 20 more years and spent her retirement years near her Son in Seattle, WA. She loved to travel and visit family, she enjoyed her pets and bird feeding, and going to church. She had an uncommon resilience to life’s challenges and unwavering devotion to family and faith.
Survivors include her son, Chad Adams; brother, Dana Adams, and four half sisters, Sandy, Sherry, Stacy and Leah Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Adam Carter.
