Richard L. Adams

Richard Lee Adams, 50, of Buckner, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Medical Center of Independence. Cremation is planned with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 16 at the Buckner United Methodist Church. Rick was born January 20, 1956 in Independence, MO to Richard and Leila (Corn) Adams and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Truman High School in 1974. He owned and operated Electrical Apparatus Specialty for a number of years. He raised and competed with homing pigeons. He was survived by his wife Lyn (Cook), a daughter, Caitlyn Adams and a son Cory Adams all of the home; 2 home brothers, Bill Miller and Bob Nevius and several nieces and nephews.
