Donna Addison

Donna Reese Addison, 73, of Shawnee, KS, formerly of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, April 14th. Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, April 19th at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 7-8:30 pm Monday at the chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Donna was born February 22, 1932 in Independence, MO to Ivor and Gertude (Cramer) Reese. Memorial contributions may be made to Maywood Baptist Church, 10505 E. Winner Rd. Independence, MO 64052. She was a homemaker, after having been secretary to the president of the Independence (Missouri) Chamber of Commerce, and secretary to the plant manager of Butler Manufacturing. She was a member of Maywood Baptist Church. Donna is survived by her daughter Robba Addison Moran and her husband, Jerry, of Hays, KS, son John Addison and his wife Ann, of Overland Park, KS; three sisters, Vesta Belle Hutsell and Gwen Hutsell both of Seattle, WA and Janis Peters of Raytown, MO; two brothers, Trevor Reese of Warrensburg, MO and Gordon Reese of Acworth, GA; two granddaughters and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, in 2001.
