Dwayne Adkins

Dwayne Adkins, 45 of Kansas City, MO passed away Sat. Apr. 1, 2006 at his home. Services will be 10:00 am, Tue. Apr. 4, 2006 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO. Burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Monday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Dwayne was born September 22, 1960 to LeRoy and Verna Jean Adkins in Kansas City, MO. He had served in the US Navy from 1985 to 1989. Dwayne was a loving father and brother who enjoyed riding Harleys and drawing, which he was very good at. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two children, Cory Adkins and Haley Adkins, both of Pleasant Hill, MO. A brother, Keith Adkins of Kansas City; a sister Susan Ott of Overland Park, KS; his former wife, Becky O�Connor and by two nieces and nephews.
