George Timothy Adlard, 75, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2022 He was born in Independence, MO June 19, 1946 to George William Adlard and Opal May Hartley.
Tim was a loving husband, father, granddad, and friend. He served his Country, Savior, family and friends with grace, honor and dignity. Tim was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Tim loved traveling with his wife and family throughout his life, visiting more than 40 of our 50 great states as well as Canada. He loved to fish with his sons, son-in-law, grandsons, and friends. He and Marsha spent many mornings together on his boat. Tim loved to do wood-working projects. Friends and family were often gifted his homemade vases, planters, doll cribs, and more. All were signed by Tim. Tim loved the outdoors. Farming with his father, planting gardens, flower pots, and feeding, watching birds were all favorite outdoor hobbies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Opal and 2 sisters, Linda (Adlard) Edwards and Gail Elaine (Adlard) Peterson. Survivors include: his wife of 53 years, Marsha Ann Evelina (Greenwood) Adlard; daughter Elaine (Steve) Pottberg of Independence, MO; Darin (Jessica) Adlard of Draper, UT; Kevin (Jessica) Adlard of Independence, MO; 9 grandchildren KarLeigh, Braden, Grant, and Natalie Pottberg; Katherine, Clara, and Price Adlard; Belle Yennie and Ava Adlard and 1 great grandchild, Cora Pottberg. 2 sisters Terry (Dennis) Jacobson of Centerville, UT; Dana (Slade) Uptegrove of Sibley, MO; and 1 brother Mark (Laura) Adlard of Sibley, MO.
