Aimee Rebecca Wray-Trevino

October 18, 1975 — November 17, 2024

Aimee Rebecca Wray- Trevino got her angel wings on November 17, 2024. Aimee was born on October 18, 1975, in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert and Rebecca (Foster) Wray.

Aimee attended Lee's Summit High School and graduated in 1994. She was pursuing an online college degree majoring in criminal justice with an emphasis on human services.

Aimee spent a good part of her professional life doing medical billing, but because of her love for traveling she started her own business Wrays of Sunshine Luxury Travel. Aimee loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a feisty, bossy, bubbly, life of the party, fashionista who was never at a loss for words type of woman. She was a huge Chiefs fan. She loved, shopping, lounging by the pool, bonfires, bbqs, traveling, spending time with family, especially with her kids and her grandbabies, and her many friends. She specifically loved our family Christmas's at Grandma Connie's and our annual Fourth of July pool parties at her Uncle Scott's and Aunt Donna's house. She was known by her nickname "Big Aim" because she lived life in a Big way.

She married Dave Trevino on February 8, 2022.

Aimee is survived by: Husband, Dave Trevino; Mother, Rebecca Slavens; Bonus Dad, Brett Slavens; Sister, Lindsey Morgan (partner Matt Bohannon); Sister, Morgan Odom; Sons, Jordan Townsend, Tanner Holmes, Corey Spann, and Daughter, Whitney Wray. Granddaughters, Harmony Hernandez, Hayzel Hernandez, Grandsons, Jacob Hernandez and Jett Townsend. Many Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Wray.

She was taken from us too soon. God called her home and now she is pain free, at peace and dancing with her savior.

The family invites you to join them in celebrating Aimee's life on December 28, 2024 from 11am-2pm at the Gamber Community Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
