Debra Lynn Alexander (Ewing)

Debra Alexander, 61, of Independence, MO passed away September 23, 2017. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Road, Independence, MO. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Debra was born July 3, 1956 in Kansas City, MO to James and Betty (Davis) Ewing. She was a big fan of her Kansas City Royals. She will be remembered as someone who was totally family oriented, always helping others, and always smiling. Debbie will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Steve Bridges. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, William David Alexander; two daughters, Tiffany Alexander and Kailey Alexander; three sisters, Carol Bridges, Terrie Hamilton and Anita Boone.
