Ronald Lee "Big Al� Alexander, Jr. 56 of Buckner, MO passed away Sunday, July 20, 2003 at his home. Services will be 10 am Thursday, July 24th at Speaks Buckner Chapel; with interment in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Chapel. Ron was born April 27, 1947 in Booneville, MO to Gertrude and Ronald Alexander. He was a veteran of the US Army and served his country in Germany from 1965 to 1968. He retired from LaFarge Cement Co; owned the Red Dawg Saloon in Buckner for several years, and worked as a driver for the Fifty Plus Pharmacy. Ron was preceded in death by his father, and is survived by his wife of 34 years, Terry Alexander; son, Brian Alexander of Buckner, MO; daughter, Stacy Bowling and husband Mark of Sibley, MO; grandchildren, Bret and Teri Ann Cooper; mother, Gertrude Alexander of Buckner, MO; sisters, Patricia Fry of Stillwell, KS, Connie Yates of Indiana, Jenny Steinhauser of Buckner, MO, and Susan Brock of Independence, MO; nieces and nephews; and his dog Jazzabelle.
