He held several different types of jobs prior to serving in the armed forces
in 1968/69. When he returned home, he was hired by Country Club Plaza as a

If something interested him, he was passionate about it. He dabbled in water
colors for a while and tinkered with cars, but his greatest love was fishing
and he did it as often as he could. He was fishing on Lake of the Ozarks when
he suffered a heart attack and passed away. Jasper was known for his ability to make friends, tell jokes and relate fishing stories. He will leave a void in our hearts and lives.
