William W. Allega, 70, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at his home. A Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Kansas City Hospice or Cancer Action. William was born on March 9, 1933 in Glasgow, MO to William R. and Anna Bell Allega. He worked as a metal finisher for 32 years at the Ford Motor Company-Claycomo Plant, before retiring in 1984. He then worked part time at the Watt Drug in Independence. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Allega; two sons, Michael Allega and David Allega with wife Melissa; one daughter, Vicki Roberts with husband Tony; two sisters, Dorothy Swan with husband Don Epperson and Nola Heater with husband Dick; seven grandchildren; and seven neices and nephews.
