Ann Allen

Ann Allen, of Independence, MO, formerly of Granite City, IL, passed away, Sat. Nov 13, 2004 at Independence Regional Health Center. Visitation will be from 6 - 8:00 pm, Wed, Nov. 17, 2004 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home, with the Rosary being said at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Holy Family Church in Granite City, IL. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL. Mrs. Allen was born in Flat River, MO to the late Harry and Eva Sasyk. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Nick and Mike Sasyk and a sister, Mary Williams. Ann had been a devoted homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading and praying the Rosary. She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church where she had participated in the Holy Rosary Society and St. Joseph�s Table. Ann is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, William Allen. A son Nick Novosel and a daughter Eve Martin. Three grandchildren, Linda Brown, Nicholas Novosel and Brad Martin. A great grandson Aaron Roberson.
