William J. Allen, Sr.

William J. Allen, Sr. 86, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Maywood Terrace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Wednesday, August 4th at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church; with entombment in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm with the Rosary at 6:30 pm at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Mr. Allen was born September 23, 1917 in Independence, MO. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Army. Mr. Allen was an Industrial Engineer with Bendix Corporation, retiring after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty J. Allen, and a daughter, Joy Ann Keadle. Mr. Allen is survived by his children, William J. Allen, Jr. of Plantation, FL, Jeannette C. Parker of Lee�s Summit, MO, and Robert M. Allen of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Deborah Scanlon, Orbin Parker, Jim Keadle, Laura Keadle, Billy Allen, Brandon Allen, Patricia Allen, and Jesse Allen; several great grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Luther of Buckner, MO, Helen Paris of Appleton City, MO, and Mary Babylon of Blue Springs, MO.
