Orlena Allinson

Orlena Allinson, 82, of Independence, MO passed away Monday morning, July 7, 2003 at Independence Regional Health Care. Cremation. No services scheduled. Orlena was born March 11, 1921 in Vernon County, MO to Benjamin and Anna (Doryland) Hamby. Mrs. Allinson was an LPN and used those skills through her church working on mission projects. Orlena was dedicated to living a Christian life of servitude. She had a great love for her family. Orlena is survived by her son Hank Allinson of El Dorado Springs, MO, grandchildren Rick Bourland, Brenda Smithers, Angie Story, Travis Cook, Bobbi Quick and Toni McElwain, 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Allinson was preceded in death by her daughters Sue Cook and Maggie Barger.
