Glenda Allison Self

Glenda Kim Allison Self, 44, Independence, MO was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Nov. 2, 2007. Services will be 10 am, Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel followed by a graveside service at 2 pm at Allen Cemetery, Gower, MO. Visitation will be 6�"8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
Glenda was born Aug. 10, 1963 at the Independence Sanitarium. She graduated from Ft. Osage High School and went on to attend Penn Valley Community College. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior. Throughout her life she continued to be steadfast in the Lord. She faithfully attended Blue Ridge Assembly of God where she was passionate in her worship of the Lord. Her love for others had no boundaries. Glenda is loved by many and will be missed greatly.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Loyd Allison. She is survived by her husband Pete Self, of the home; daughters Jessica Crutchfield, Kansas City, MO; Allison Willenborg; Mariah Willenborg, both of Ft. Worth, TX; step-son Joe Self, Independence, MO; step-daughter Emily Self, Kansas City, MO; mother Melva Allison, Independence, MO; sisters Brenda Noland and husband Gerald, Raymore, MO; Ronda Price and husband Ronnie, Harrisonville, MO; Lana Self; brother Doug Allison, both of Independence, MO; grandchildren Kaine and Makenzie; and many nieces and nephews.
