Lisa Marie Allwin

Lisa Marie Allwin, 57, passed away on August 17, 2020. Lisa was born on November 21, 1962 in Kansas City Missouri, to Vernon and Joan Allwin. She attended Lakewood State School and was a loving daughter and sister. She had a passion for playing games and puzzles, as well as socializing in the community. Lisa loved playing records and listening to music, especially John Denver. She was such a sweet, loving, gentle lady, who was smart as whip. Lisa never met a stranger, as everyone was a friend to her, and shook their hand. She had such a huge heart, loved her dolls, hot chocolate, popcorn and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Eleanor Allwin; brothers, John and Paul (Jamie) Allwin; nieces, Joellie and Amanda Allwin and nephew Robert Allwin. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon John Allwin.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25th from 10-11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am, both at St. Mark Catholic Church, 3736 S Lee's Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055.
