Amelia P Carino

Amelia P Carino, 79, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in Independence, MO. She was born in the Philippines on May 17, 1944, to Dr. Laureano and Agueda De Guzman. She met and married Leopold Carino and together they have one son, Noel. Amelia got her degree in nursing and went on to work in nursing for more than 25 years. Prior to nursing she was a teacher while still living in the Philippines, they moved to Canada in 1968, and a few years later they moved to the United States to live in New York.

Amelia is survived by her husband of 56 years Leopold Carino, son Noel Carino, daughter-in-law Tamara Carino, grandson Anthony Carino, and granddaughter Abigail Carino. She is preceded in death by her parents Dr Laureano and Agueda.

A small, private ceremony, limited to her IMMEDIATE FAMILY and invited guests will be held for Amelia at 10am on Monday June 26, 2023, at Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 E 39^th St Independence, MO) with burial following immediately after at Blue Springs Cemetery.
