Pamela “Pam” Anderberg, 53, of Columbia, MO was called home by her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 6, 2018 at her home at Woodhaven. A visitation will be from 10-11am on Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Rd, Independence, MO, 64055. Mass of a Christian Burial will follow at 11am at the church.
Pam was born on April 27, 1965 in Sedalia, MO to Ande and Linda (Dalton) Anderberg. She fell in love with the staff and residence at Woodhaven and called Columbia home. She competed in the Special Olympics, enjoyed riding horses, bowling, attending Camp Wonderland, and singing karaoke – especially Journey! Most of all, she loved being with her family and friends. Pam had a zest for life; she never met a stranger. Once you shook hands with Pam, you became friends. She was a joy to many and the light that she brought into this world will be deeply missed.
Her survivors include: her parents Ande and Linda Anderberg of Independence, MO; brother Keith Anderberg and sister Joan Anderberg of North Kansas City, MO; her nephews Peter and Noah Anderberg; and her beloved dog Abbe. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Russell and Violet Anderberg, maternal grandparents Earl and Louise Dalton, uncles Russ Anderberg and Mike Dalton, and aunt Nancy Murray.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Woodhaven.
