Bonnie L. Anderson, 100, of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2022.
Bonnie was born to Ernest and Osa Curnutt on July 28, 1922 in Independence, Missouri.
Bonnie spent her whole life in Independence. After graduating from William Chrisman High School she married her best friend Samuel Anderson. To this union came four children. Bonnie loved her family fiercely and was able to stay home to raise her children. She remained very active within their school activities and education and was proud of her role as PTA president. Years later she started a job as the cash office manager for Venture retail store until she retired in 1987. Bonnie was a selfless woman. She was a lifelong member of the Liberty Street RLDS Church and volunteered her time at the Independence Regional Hospital often.
She will be greatly missed. Bonnie is survived by her son, David Anderson (Sharlet); daughter, Shari Anderson (Betty); granddaughter; Tara Patel (Nilesh); grandson, Tim Anderson; great grandchildren, Kaden, Alayna, & Braylen Patel and Ty Anderson; son in law, David Maley.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel; parents, Osa and Ernest Curnutt; brother, Jerry Curnutt; children, Timothy Anderson and Cindy Maley; and grandchild, Ryan Anderson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 13th at 2pm at Carson-Speaks Chapel in Independence, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kansas City Pet Project in memory of Bonnie.
