Charles William Anderson

Charles William Anderson, 87 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be private. Mr. Anderson was born April 8, 1917 in Kansas City, MO. He was a lifelong resident of Independence, and a graduate of Wm. Chrisman High School. After graduation, he worked for various bread companies, and drove a horse drawn delivery wagon for Manor Bread Co. With his wife, he operated Anderson�s Market in Independence for 15 years. After the grocery business, he obtained his broker�s license and worked for David Sheehy Realty, and Howard Cook Realty. In retirement he volunteered for several years at Independence Food Fair Co-op. Mr. Anderson is survived by a son, Terry Anderson and wife Glenna; sister-in-law, Betty Mosier Beller of Independence, MO; grandson, Brian England and family all of New Jersey; nephew, Richard Mabbott and family of Spokane, WA.
