Mary I. Anderson

Mary I. Anderson, 86, of Lee�s Summit, MO passed away Tuesday, March 06, 2007 at John Knox Care Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community of Christ Church South American Mission Center Building Fund c/o Youth Center in Bolivia. Mary was born November 8, 1920 in Kansas City, MO to Edward E. and M. Alletta (Briant) Scott. Mrs. Anderson was a faithful member of the Community of Christ Church. She assisted her husband Harold in his ministry as well as lead women�s activities. Mary and Harold were part of a social circle that spent their winters in Mesa, AZ. She was a kind and giving woman with an outgoing personality. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband of 68 years, Harold Anderson; son G. Duane Anderson and wife Marlene; grandsons Chris Anderson and wife Heidi, Corey Anderson and wife Georgia, Brian and Bradley Anderson; great-grandson Carter Thomas Anderson; brothers Lowell Scott and wife Joan, Jim Scott and wife Diane; her brothers� children Leta, Sherie, Stephanie, and Devin; and a host of nieces, cousins and special friends.
