Stanley J. Andrews, 79, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, died Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in Lee’s Summit. He was surrounded by his family.
Stan was born on February 2, 1942 in Macks Creek, Missouri, to Elbert (Andy) and Edna (Pearl) Crane Andrews.
He married Ledlie Ann Johnston on April 11, 1963 in Monticello, Missouri. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Adele Andrews Duncan of Lee’s Summit and Cara Andrews Davenport of Independence, Missouri; one granddaughter, Madeline Duncan and one grandson, Seth Davenport; his sister, Carla Andrews Coldwell; sister-in-law Dorothy Johnston Morgan (Tom); several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Stan retired in 2016 after spending most of his professional career in sales and national account management in the transportation industry. Stan was a member of Country Club Christian Church, a Master Mason, 32nd degree Scottish Rite and a member of the Ararat Shrine.
Stan enjoyed hunting, reading, wood working and many other hobbies.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 26 at Ivanhoe Masonic Lodge, 8640 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A Masonic Ceremony will be at 1 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life until 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a memorial donation to Ivanhoe Masonic Lodge, 8640 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64131 in memory of Stanley J. Andrews.
