Eugene N. Andrisevic, 71, of Sugar Creek, MO, passed away, Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2004 at St. Ann�s Catholic Church in Independence, MO. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday evening at Geo. C. Carson and Sons Funeral Home followed by a visitation until 8:30 p.m. Gene was born on October 5, 1932 in Kansas City, KS to Nicholas and Mildred (Draskovich) Andrisevic and grew up on Strawberry Hill where he was especially proud of his Croatian Heritage. He graduated from Notre Dame University with a degree in Business Administration. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the U.S. Army. He worked as General Manager and co-owner of R.J. Roper Distribution Company and for the Kansas City, KS Water Pollution Control Department. He enjoyed fishing, Notre Dame football, making deer sausage, baking apple strudel and povitica. He is survived by his two sons, Dean and his wife Connie and Nick and his wife Cheryl both of Lee�s Summit, MO; two grandchildren, James Andrisevic of Tempe, AZ and Megan Andrisevic of Lee�s Summit, MO; a brother Edward Andrisevic and his wife Velma of Kansas City, KS; sister-in-law Rosemary Andrisevic of Magnolia, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends . He was preceded in death by a brother James Andrisevic in 1995. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the St. Ann�s Building Fund.
