Thomas Salvatore "Tom� Angotti, Jr., 68, of Independence, MO, passed Monday, December 26, 2005 at Independence Regional Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2005 at St. Mark�s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel where there will be a prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tom was born May 3, 1937 in Kansas City, MO to Thomas Salvatore and Clara (Janacaro) Angotti, Sr. He grew up in the area and graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in 1954 and had attended Rockhurst University. He had owned and operated Broadmoor Deli in Mission, KS for a number of years retiring in 2003. Prior to that he had worked as a vice-president for Standard State Bank and as a manager for Public Finance. He enjoyed building model ships, the internet and classical music. He was married for 48 years to Marian (Courtier), she survives of the home. Other survivors include; 4 daughters, Anna Marie Amey (Jeffrey), Michelle Rethford (Joe), Gigi DuRee (Michael "Duke�) and Tommi Suzanne Angotti all of Independence; a brother, Vincent Lee Angotti of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Christine Marie Hoffman of Shawnee, KS; 6 grandchildren, Brianna, Nicole, and Danielle Amey, Christopher and Cody Rethford and Renee DuRee. He was preceded in death by; his parents, a brother, Joseph Angotti, Sr. and his beloved aunt Jenni.
