Matthew J. Anson, 42, Independence, MO, died Wednesday, October 10, in Overland Park, KS, as the result of a work accident. Services will be at 11:00 am Monday, Oct. 15, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Independence, MO. Visitation will be 6-8:30 pm Sunday at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. A special service of remembrance will be held at 7:30 pm during the Visitation. Matt was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Clara Anson, and is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kelly (Klingler) Anson, of the home; sons John Conway and wife Dawn, and Sean Conway, of Independence; his daughter, Annette Powell, Lincoln, NE; 2 grandchildren, Rosalind and Christina Hancock; and seven brothers and sisters, Karen Anson, Sharon Cook, Margaret Anson, Peter Anson, Tim Anson, Mary Smith, and Mark Anson; and many other loving relatives and friends.
