Carole Argetsinger

March 1, 1954 — December 4, 2003

Carole Anne Argetsinger, 49, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, December 4, 2003 at St. Marys Hospital with her family by her side. Visitation will be 6-8:00 Tuesday, December 9, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at the chapel. Carole was born March 1, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She was the only daughter of Richard Vincent and Shirley Ann (Petet) Rist. The family moved to San Diego, CA when Carole was 6 so her father could attend college at SDSU. She attended Mt. Helix High School. Her father moved the family back to Blue Springs, MO where Carole finished her senior year at Blue Springs High School. She was involved in many art classes where she loved to paint and make ceramics. The following winter after graduation, Carole married her best friends brother, Lane Coy Argetsinger. At age 26, Carole gave birth to her first daughter Amy Marie. Six years later, her youngest daughter Megan Anne was born. She loved her daughters very much and they knew that she would do anything in the world for them. Anyone who ever came in contact would instantly understand that she was selfless. She always made sure everyone was taken care of before herself. Carole loved spending time traveling and being with her family, her pet dachshunds and tending to her gardens, vegetables and roses. Carole was preceded in death by her father Richard and her grandmother Neoma. She is survived by her mother, husband, two daughters, son-in-law Josh and many extended family members; beloved dogs and many friends that will miss her kindness and generosity. The family would like to thank everyone who has been kind to them during her recent difficult times. A special thanks goes out to the Spiritual and ICU staff at St. Marys Hospital who worked their hardest to save her life and provide comfort. Carole endured many hard times, pulling through most by being strong and not giving up. We are very proud of her.
