Alfred Arreguin, 91, of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church 3636 S. Lee’s Summit Rd., Independence, MO 64055 with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A rosary will recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2017 followed by visitation until 8:30pm Friday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Alfred served in WWII as a Staff Sargent of the United States Marine Corp. Following his service he worked and retired from Brown & Covey as a mechanical engineer. Later in life he was fortunate to spend his days traveling the world with his wife Mary of 60 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He has now joined his life long friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Anita; brothers, Nick, Max, Rudy, Art, Anthony and a sister, Tempest. He is survived by: a son, David and wife Kristi, a daughter, Anita, a son, Fred and wife Michelle; a sister, Camille Bustamente; Grandchildren: Heather and Tony Denker, Phillip Arreguin, Nichole Arreguin, Eric and Jessica Dutton, Aaron Dutton, Alex Arreguin, and Natalie Arreguin. Great grandchildren: Anthony O'Brien, Erica Dutton, AJ Denker and Henry Denker.
