Arthur Curtis Foster, 80, passed peacefully to be with our Lord on January 7, 2025.

Art was born on February 13, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from Rockhurst High School, he proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. After three tours of duty in Vietnam from 1962-67, he received the Meritorious Service Medal for outstanding service to his country. He met the love of his life, Sharon (Sherry) Lusso, and they were married on July 5, 1969, welcoming daughter Kristina in 1972.

His work as an auditor moved them from Kansas City to Louisville, KY, Marietta, GA, and Rockwall, TX. He retired from Choice Point Division of Equifax in 2005 and then moved to Olive Branch, MS.

He was an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Olive Branch and volunteered along with his wife at the VA Hospital and Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN. Art was an avid golfer and enjoyed his family and friends, bowling, working on many house projects over the years, and watching Western TV shows and movies.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; daughter Kristina Black (Matt); 3 grandchildren (Foster, Rebekah, and Sarah); 4 great-grandchildren (Nathan, Aria, Hannah, Ellie); sisters, Patricia Anthony and Linda Meiers; brothers, Jim Foster (Mary), Mike Foster, and Steve Foster (Teresa); along with 42 nieces and nephews.
