Kenneth Ash

Sid Ash, 75, of Independence, MO, passed away on October 17, 2014. Memorial Services will be Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at 11:00 am at Speaks Suburban Chapel. A Visitation will take place prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am. Sid was born on Oct. 27, 1938 in Sedalia, MO to Felix and Violet (Kindle) Ash. After high school, Sid moved to the Independence area and began his 40 year career at Hallmark. Sid was a proud member of the Shriners and Scottish Rite. Survivors include; his loving wife of 56 years, Marylan (Ditton) Ash; son, Ken Ash, Jr.; daughter Lesley (Eric) Holcomb; granddaughters, Sydney and Valerie Holcomb; sister Joyce Elkins.
