Shirley A. Ashford

Shirley A. Ashford, 76, Kansas City, Mo. passed away July 16, 2004 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am, Tuesday, at St. Catherine�s Catholic Church. Visitation will be two hours prior to Mass at the church. The family suggests contributions to the Catholic Charities Hospice. Shirley was born Jan. 17, 1928 in Kansas City, Ks. She was a mother, homemaker and a member of the church. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Richard Ashford. She is survived by son Richard Ashford, Jr., Tucson, AZ; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Joseph Lascon, Lee�s Summit, MO; son Mark Ashford, K.C., MO; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Greta Ashford, Lee�s Summit, MO; daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Wiley Biggers, K.C., KS; daughter and son-in-law Victoria and Dustin Cook, K.C., MO; brother and sister-in-law Albert and Lucille Schneider; brother-in-law Harold Ashford and wife Doris, Sacramento, CA; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
