Teresa Anne Atwood (Yates)

Teresa Anne “Terri” Atwood, 65, of Independence, MO passed away November 18, 2019. Memorial services will be 11am Saturday November 23, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ Belton Restoration Branch in Belton, MO. Terri was born on February 8, 1954 in Pittsburg, CA. She was a graduate of East High School. For many years Terri worked in the accounting department of Montgomery Wards. She was a big fan of Slot machines and Downtown Abbey. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family and others. Survivors include; daughter Mindi Jones and her husband Jeremiah; daughter Holly Atwood and her partner Jeremy Burnett; grandchildren Scarlet Jones, Hunter Burnett and Juliann Burnett, a large extended family and many friends. Terri is preceded in death by her parents, husband David Atwood, son Mark Anthony Atwood and sister Frances Ferguson.
