Earnest H. Ault, 76, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2008 in the chapel. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the First Assembly of God Church, 3711 Whitney Rd., Independence, MO 64055. Earnest was born June 30, 1932 in Ravenwood, MO to Elmer Newton and Sarah Jane (Smith) Ault. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Ault retired from Bayer after 29 years of service. His life revolved around his children and grandkids. Ted had a servant’s heart and loved the Lord with all of his life. He recently celebrated his 51st wedding anniversary on September 27, 2008 with his wife, family and friends. Earnest is survived by his wife Janice (Hilt) Ault; son Jeffrey Ault; daughters Rhonda McKeehan and husband Jim, Linda Cunningham and husband Mark; grandchildren Melissa McKeehan, Weston and Austin Cunningham; by his sister Vera Mae Smith; and by a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many friends. Ted was preceded in death by five brothers.
