Merlain Aunuwa (Billimon)

Merlain was born on September 7, 1947, and passed away on February 27,2021. She was born to Darup and Kiso. She was married to Samuel Billimon. She met her husband at a church function in Chuuk. She was married to her husband for over 50 years. They have 6 children, 17 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Merlain was a very faithful Christian, she was a part of a women's group in church. In her free time, she is either reading the Bible or spending time with her grandkids. Merlain was a loving person, not just with her words, but with actions as well. Her smile just brightens the room. She was one of the most generous people we've ever known. She will be missed.

A visitation will be held from 5-8:00pm on Friday, March 12 and from 2:30-6:00pm on Saturday, March 13, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, at 18020 E. 39th St. in Independence, MO. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service to honor Merlain will be held for family. Merlain will be laid to rest at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe, HI.
