Donald R. “Donny” Austin, 58, of Independence, passed away Friday, March 16th, 2018. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday March 22nd, from 6:00-8:00pm at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052.
Donny was born November 7, 1959, in Kansas City, MO to Richard and Laverna (Trabue) Austin. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle, but his true joy was being a dad to Holly, Kenneth and Travis and “Grandpa” to his six grandchildren. Donny is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Freddy and Kenny. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; his daughter, Holly Austin and her boyfriend, Mike; his son Kenneth and his wife, Amanda and his son Travis; grandchildren, Cameron, Aubree, Chandler, Kenneth Jr., Justin, and Bailee; his sister, Teresa Burch and her husband, Mike; his Aunt Bonnie Markham; as well as his many friends. Donny is and will be greatly missed.
