Maxine B. Auxier-Grigg

Maxine B. Auxier-Grigg, 87, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, January 25th at Independence Health Care. Memorial services are pending. Maxine was born August 17, 1917 in Independence, MO to Roland and Bessie (Westwood) Goold. She was a member of the RLDS Church where she enjoyed teaching 2 and 3 year old sunday school and vacation bible school. Maxine enjoyed sewing in her spare time and was active in the Tulsa Council of Churches. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dr. C.R. and Diane Auxier Jr. of the Fiji Islands; daughter Marianne Trammell and friend Earl Terhune of Skiatook, OK; grandchildren Jacque, Perry, Wendy, Brandy, Richard and Ronald; great-grandchildren Halen, Kyla, Corey, Evan and Hannah; 3 brothers Jack, Ed and Raymond Goold; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Clarence Auxier in 1997, and husband Earl Grigg.
