Lois M. (Bliven) Bach, age 93, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her home.
A private service will be held for close family.
Lois was born on July 27, 1928 in Sioux City, Iowa to Erwin and Pearl (Fevold) Bliven. She graduated from Humboldt High School in Humboldt, Iowa in 1946. She and her first husband Phillip Nesheim were parents to four children. Her second marriage was to Tom Bach. She retired from Employers Reinsurance Corporation but then continued working in part-time jobs until the age of 80. Lois was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Lois found joy in spending time with her family, sewing, cooking, gardening, and reading. She had a great passion for taking care of and providing for others. Among her grandchildren’s friends, she was known as everyone’s grandmother, and when you visited her, you never left empty-handed.
Lois is survived by her children: Beth (David) Hopkins and Michael Neshiem; grandchildren: Wendy (Derek) Berdine, Britta Kallevang, and Carrie (Don) Allison-Rolling; great-grandchildren: Elliott, Audrey, and Frances; siblings: Leone (Charles) Reisetter and Sandy (Jean) Jackan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughters Wendy Nesheim and Suzanne Lattimer, sister Jean Sabin and brother Laureths Bliven.
