Arthur D. Bagley, 68, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10 am Tuesday, January 20th at Speaks Suburban Chapel; with interment in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Chapel. Arthur was born June 24, 1935 in Kansas City, MO to Arthur and Ruth Bagley. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, and worked as an insurance agent for many years. Arthur was an Elder in the Community of Christ, a UCT Grand Counselor, Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader, Commissioner, DeMolay Advisor, past PTA President, past neighborhood council president, and a Notary Public. Arthur is survived by his wife of 35 years, Betty Bagley; children, Mary Herrin and husband Clyde of Buckner, MO, Dean Bagley of Oklahoma, Joy Goodell and husband Charlie of NKC, MO, David Bagley of KC, MO, Jackie Martin of Independence, MO, Mike Bagley and wife Stephanie of Independence, MO, and Tricia Schmidt and husband Michael of Gallatin, MO; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Bert Bagley of St. Louis, MO
