She graduated from Marshall High School in 1979 and went on to achieve her Practical Nurse Licensure in December of 1983. Tracy had a very loving and compassionate nature that fueled her desire to enter the nursing profession, caring for patients, and mentoring her colleagues. Over the course of her 38-year career, she received numerous accolades honoring her exceptional level of performance and nursing care.
In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family, listening to music, and football, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers. She also enjoyed outdoor activities, including fishing and meticulously maintaining her yard. Tracy had a sense of humor that would make you laugh until tears streamed down your face. You could always count on Tracy to be a comic relief even in difficult times. Much like her mother, Tracy loved animals of all kinds. As a child, the family had a myriad of pets, including, ducks, chickens, lambs, a pony, as well as dogs and cats. Her home was never without a pet, her current, beloved fur-babies are Zane and Bailey.
