Linda was born November 23, 1951 in Maryville, MO to Kenneth R. and Anna A. (Rodrick) Williams. In July of 1972, she caught the eye of a young Larry Baker, newly home from serving in the Navy. By December of 1972, they were married.
Linda was also a member of the Restoration Branch Church of the RLDS. She loved her days of gardening, sewing and crafting, reading and working at the public library.
Linda’s life was about connecting with people and serving them. She did it well and with all she had. But nothing compared to her time as wife, mom, and “Nana”. Her family was her greatest joy.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lawrence W. Baker, Jr.; her children, Lawrence III (Laura) of Lee’s Summit and Christine (Daniel) Tate of Independence; grandchildren, Lana Baker, Connor Baker, Graham Baker, Owen Tate, and 2 more on the way; as well as, her brother, Kenneth Jr., of Maryville, MO; other extended family and many dearly loved friends. Flowers or contributions to the family are welcome.
