Linda R. Baker

Linda R. Baker, 55, of Independence, MO, passed away, Thursday, June 5, 2003 at St. Luke�s Hospital. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at the Buckner Restoration Branch. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Linda was born September 23, 1947 in Independence, MO to Raymond and Virginia (Bailey) Brown. She was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her family and sons. She was a student of the scriptures and avid an reader. She had a great faith despite many trials and fully believed in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her husband since 1965 Kendall Baker survives her of the home. Other survivors include; Her parents Raymond and Virginia Brown of Independence, MO; 3 sons, Eric Baker and wife Kristie of Lee�s Summit, Ryan Baker of Independence, MO and Corey Baker and wife Jodi of Independence; 2 sisters, Terri Estle of Independence, MO and Debbie McAtee of Blue Springs, MO; 2 grandchildren Emily and Elizabeth Baker.
