Mary Ann Baker (Flanagan)

Mary Ann Baker, 76, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO, 64052. Mary Ann was born on December 29, 1939 in Webster City, IA to Delbert and Gladys Flanagan. She married Bobbie Baker in 1962 and they had 3 children together. Mary Ann worked as a File Clerk for 35 years at Knitrite. In her free time she enjoyed volunteering, watch Westerns and Mysteries, and reading romance novels. Mary Ann will be remembered by her son Jeffrey Baker of Independence, MO; and her sister Jean Frisbie of Latrobe, PA. She was preceded in death by her daughter Debra in 1963, son Anthony in 1987, and husband Bobbie in 2014.
