Shirley Baker, 78, of Indep., MO passed away Jan. 23, 2015. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 27th at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 Monday, Jan 26th at the chapel. Burial will be Mt. Washington Cemetery. Shirley was born on August 4, 1936 in LaCrosse, WI to Irving and Louella Bjorkman. Survivors include; daughter Cindy Dennard; sons Bill Melcher and Dennis Baker; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Bonnie Mowry, son Butch Melcher, brother George Riesing, and sister Sally Engel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.speakschapel.com
