Shirley J. Baker, 68, of Lee�s Summit, MO passed away Friday, September 23rd at Wilshire at Lakewood after a courageous three-year battle with Parkinson�s Disease. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m.. Burial to take place in Floral Hills East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson�s Foundation. Shirley was born March 4, 1937 in Independence, MO to Roy and Helen (Lewins) Lingle. Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband of 25 years, Dr. Philip Baker of the home; three sons, Samuel La Fevers, William "Butch� La Fevers and wife Jane, Michael La Fevers and partner Ray Efird; beloved grandchildren Tyler, Gina, Angie, and Amanda; great-granddaughter Ella; sister Susan O�Dell and brother Stanley Lingle; nieces Laurie and Kathy; four stepchildren Gwynn Pirnie, Mary Lynn Littler, Scott Baker and Randall Baker; seven step-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Janice Sullivan.
