Nazanin Soltan Balarashti (Nematolahi)

Nazanin Balarashti, 98, of Independence, MO passed away March 28, 2017. Visitation will be from 6-7pm Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7pm at the chapel. Burial will take place at Lobb Cemetery on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Nazanin was born on January 26, 1919 in Abadan, Iran to Jafar and Habibeh Nematolahi. Nazanin along with her husband Haydar moved to the Independence area in 1979 to be closer to her children. Survivors include: daughter Syranoosh Balarashti; son John Balarashti; daughter Kia (Balarashti) Fassaei; grandchildren Afshin, Nooshin, Jamie, Darius, Nadia; and 12 great grandchildren.
