Tammy Rene (Deshazer) Ballard, 51, of Sugar Creek, MO, passed on to eternal happiness on January 27, 2022. She was surrounded by her loving parents, Paul and Karen Deshazer. Tammy gave up her battle at St. Luke’s Hospital supported by the caring team of the Neurology Intensive Care unit. The family truly wants to show their appreciation to that team for the care and support they offered at a difficult time.
Tammy successfully pursued many career avenues from advertising, accounting and worked her way up to Taxpayer Advocate as a federal employee. Whether she was doing charity work or paid tasks, she addressed each with a vengeance and dedication that always put her at the head of the line.
In addition to her parents, Tammy is survived by her husband, Sam Ballard; and stepson, David Ballard. Tammy’s surviving siblings are her identical twin, Tina (Deshazer)Green, Paul P. Jr. & Crystal Deshazer, and John A. & Darla Deshazer. She has many nieces and nephews and a great niece and 2 great nephews.
Per Tammy’s wishes, she will be cremated with no formal services for the public. Tammy’s heart was dedicated to her pets. Buttons and Max, her cats and the much-loved rabbit, Peyton, were her most loved companions. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to local pet charities.
