Kevin Ballinger

Kevin Ballinger, 48, of Grain Valley, MO passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel. Burial in Swan Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House. Kevin was born May 21, 1959 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to Forrest and Bette (Barnes) Ballinger. Mr. Ballinger was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Grain Valley Restoration Branch Church where he was recently ordained into the office of Deacon. He was known for his kind and gentle spirit and love for all mankind. Kevin was attracted to God’s special animals providing care and a warm home. Mr. Ballinger is survived by his father Forrest Ballinger; mother Bette Ballinger; brother Craig Ballinger; sisters Jennifer Hoff and husband Bill, Telena Goans and husband Pete; nieces Kayla Hoff, Lyla Goans; nephew Matthew Goans; aunts Betty Dunham and Virginia Heath. Kevin was preceded in death by his brother Russell Ballinger in 1985; grandmother Ruby Barnes in 1985; grandparents Forrest Ballinger in 1986 and Martha Ballinger in 1974.
