Darrell Wayne Barker, 53, passed away on December 23, 2015. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
Darrell was born in New York on April 29, 1962, son of Clell and Betty (Oswalt) Barker. He graduated from Schurr High School in Montebello, California, then pursued Music and Business at Azusa Pacific University. He was a four-year veteran of the US Army. After his service, he was a tour bus driver and a truck driver. He worked in management for Yellow Freight Co. and was with Arrow Stage Lines for 9 years, currently serving as Regional Director. Darrell loved to golf, watch the KC Chiefs, and barbeque. He will be fondly remembered as a wonderful cook who loved to be home with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Leslie; his daughter Katie (Meghan); his parents, Clell and Betty; his sister, Darla (Randall); and his brother, Duane.
