Sabrina L. Barker, 32, Sugar Creek, MO passed away July 3, 2016. A Celebration of Sabrina’s Life will begin at 3 pm, Sat., July 9 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; cremation. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, before the service at the chapel.
Sabrina was born Feb. 2, 1984 in Independence and was a life-long resident. She attended William Chrisman High School. She has been a server at several area restaurants over the years, most recently at the new Strouds. She enjoyed the outdoors and playing sports but most of all loved being with her many friends.
Sabrina is survived by her husband Matt Barker, of the home; son Nicholas Srader; daughter Alanah Srader; brother Ryan Covey, all of Independence, MO; father Rick Covey and wife Sherrie, Centennial, CO; mother Kernie Covey, Independence, MO.
